Potholes in the street are the primary responsibility of the Street
Maintenance and Integrated Waste Management Division. Should you see or
notice a pothole in the street, please contact the Street Maintenance and

How do I get a sidewalk patched?
Sidewalk repairs are the primary responsibility of the property owner. However,
if you have a sidewalk in need of repair, and you would like to have a temporary
patch installed until the permanent repairs can be made, please call the
Street Maintenance and Integrated Waste Management Division at 626-744-4158.

When is my
street scheduled for sweeping?
The City of Pasadena street sweeping
program consists of 38 separate or individual routes. The majority of the
routes are swept every two weeks. Some commercial areas are swept more frequently.
We also do a lot of special event sweeping such as, the Rose Bowl Football
games, parades, Emmy Awards etc. To find out when your area is swept, please
contact the Street Maintenance and Integrated Waste Management Division
at 626-744-4158.

Who do I call
regarding a broken bus bench?
The Street Maintenance and Integrated Waste Management division is
responsible for the maintenance and repair of the bus benches. You have
probably noticed that at some locations there is a covered area or what
we call a bus shelter. These locations are maintained by a private contractor.
If you know of or notice a bus bench in need of repair, please contact the

Who do I call
regarding a storm drain problem?
The Street Maintenance and Integrated Waste Management
Division is responsible for the maintenance of the storm drains in the City.
The Los Angeles County Flood Control District also has some drains that
run through our city. Catch basins are area drains where surface water enters
the storm drain system. The drains or catch basins are cleaned on
a yearly basis. Should you have any questions regarding drains or catch
basins, please call the Street Maintenance and Integrated Waste Management

Who do I call
regarding a City sewer problem?
The Street
Maintenance and Integrated Waste Management Division is responsible for
the cleaning and maintenance of the City’s sewer system. There are approximately
320 miles of sewer line that run through our City. The lines are cleaned
and cleared of grease, roots and debris on a yearly schedule. Should you
